On Friday, Jan 26th, San Antonio hip hop artist, 2 Five Da Raptor, became the first ever Freestyle Fridays champion.
Hosted by HomeBase Promotions, the hit web show features R&B and Hip Hop artists from across the nation, as they compete weekly for bragging rights, and ultimately compete for a Grand Prize at the end of the month.
2 Five Da Raptor went up against Sacramento artist, Trilo, in the Grand Prize show competition. Both artists performed acapella freestyles until a winner was announced by the show hosts.
This had been 2 Five’s second time competing in the competition, having been the Jan 19th winner.
