Final Four Weekend was lit up with a line-up of activities and celebrity performances, as the city hosts Final Four 2025. It included a surprise pop-up performance by Travis Scott on Sunday, April 6, at 1902 nightclub.
He joined Harlem rapper, Sheck Wes, on stage at the sold-out event. During the performance, Travis Scott shouted out his former college, UTSA – The University of Texas at San Antonio.
The mention came during a song transition moment of his performance with Harlem rapper, Sheck Wes:
“…So shout out to the Roadrunners…”

He then proceeded to perform a tease of his feature on hit single, “Type Sh**”, from Future and Metro Boomin’s album, ‘We Don’t Trust You’., before introducing his new song with Sheck entitled, “I Love My B*tch”.
Shortly after, Travis took over the DJ turntables to mix in his hit single, “Mamacita”, while shouting out, “I’m tryna see what the f*ck going on in San Antonio, ya heard?!” He jumped up and down with excitement as the beat dropped.
Travis Scott attended The University of Texas at San Antonio from Fall 2009 to Fall 2010, before dropping out to pursue his music career.
