The new season of the popular MTV ‘Love & Hip Hop’ television series, “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Season 13”, is underway at full speed, and although the show does not feature a San Antonio artist physically, Sa-Town is definitely “in da building” and being represented well musically.
The trailer features a song by turn-key San Antonio producer, Ryan Welch, known in the entertainment world as “Clef God” or “Clef God The Producer”. The song featured is entitled, “The Crown”.
The producer/rapper/singer/songwriter/engineer was so excited that he created a reaction video to celebrate the great accomplishment on July 8, 2025, the day of the season premiere:
In the video, he says that the song was part of a multi-song submission to Paramount(c), via music production & licensing company,The Co-Stars Ent., and that he created three songs to meet the submission deadline. Paramount is able to use any of the three tracks in its media.
His Instagram post’s caption of the video read:
“I’m speechless 🤯, Thank you @loveandhiphop , @mtv and @paramountpics for using my song in the new trailer for Love and Hip Hop ❤️ definitely a dream come true! And I love my guys @thecostars for setting up the play! This waa my actual reaction seeing the trailer for the first time 🫨 the fact that it’s the first thinh you hear made my decade!!! All glory to GOD!!!!

This is not the first time that Clef God’s music has been featured on a major production. His music has also been featured in “Power” Season 6 (“I Need That”; 2019), HBO’s “The Hype” Season 2 (“The Door”, “Harder”, “We Did It”; 2022), Tyler Perry’s “All The Queens Men” series on BET (“Gold Skin”; 2022), and Bel-Air Season 2 (“All The Bad Bitches Live in LA”; 2023).
In addition to the major placements, Clef God has produced tracks for Snow Tha Product and San Antonio’s AJ Hernz “Talk Back” and “Diamond Dance”, even shooting and directing the music videos for both.
In addition to all of these extraordinary accomplishments, his music has debuted in the top 10 of iTunes charts (‘The Fire’, #8 in 2022, ‘Blockbuster’ in 2023).
We recently had the opportunity of seeing him perform in person at the 2nd Annual Art & Hip-Hop music festival event in April, presented by Mind & Soul Music.
